For one month, Modell’s Sporting Goods store and Tackle Kids Cancer teamed up to launch the “Give 5, Get 5” campaign. When Modell’s shoppers donated $5 to Tackle Kids Cancer, they received $5 off their next purchase. Through this program, $90,000 was raised for Tackle Kids Cancer, with the South Shore Commons Modell’s store in Staten Island raising the most funds. To thank these hard working employees, New York Giants Defensive Tackle, Johnathan Hankins made an appearance at the store; signing autographs and taking pictures with fans, including our very own MVP, Gavin.
