George to the Rescue

Home renovation television host George Oliphant of NBC’s George to the Rescue joined forces with Tackle Kids Cancer and the New York Giants to help seven-year-old Jude, a patient at Hackensack Meridian Health’s Children’s Cancer Institute, and his family.

While undergoing treatment for a brain tumor at the Children’s Cancer Institute, Jude’s family’s apartment burned down. The family was able to purchase another home, but it was in need of a renovation—which is when George came to the rescue!

Contractor George Oliphant and his team renovated the family’s outdated home, including Jude and his brother’s bedroom. Thanks to the efforts of George and his team, along with the support of Eli Manning and the Giants, Jude and his family enjoyed an experience they would never forget.
