On Sunday, November 5, 2023, #TeamTKC, Tackle Kids Cancer’s running team, represented our organization at the 2023 TCS New York City Marathon. This year, #TeamTKC raised more than $150,000 for Tackle Kids Cancer – a record total for our marathon team!
As an Official Charity Partner of the prestigious marathon, our runners celebrate milestones, honor loved ones and raise much-needed funds to support pediatric cancer research and support programs. We are grateful to have a mix of runners, including Hackensack Meridian Health team members, family and loved ones of TKC MVPs (most valiant patients) and those who hold Tackle Kids Cancer close to their hearts.
The funds raised by our marathon team benefits groundbreaking cancer research, essential clinical care and unique support services for our patients and their families. While racing for our organization helps spread the word of our mission during the historic New York City Marathon, one of six of the World Marathon Majors.
Congratulations to all of #TeamTKC on completing the marathon and breaking a fundraising record for the team! We thank our runners and supporters for joining in the fight against pediatric cancer. Together, we can tackle kids cancer.
