On Sunday, November 2, 2025, #TeamTKC, Tackle Kids Cancer’s running team, will represent the organization at the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon. As an Official Charity Partner of the marathon, runners celebrate milestones, honor loved ones and raise much-needed funds to support pediatric cancer research and support programs.
This year’s runners include Hackensack Meridian Health team members, family members and loved ones of TKC MVPs (Most Valiant Patients), as well as those who hold Tackle Kids Cancer close to their hearts.
The funds raised by our marathon team benefit groundbreaking cancer research, essential clinical care and unique support services for our patients and their families receiving care at Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital and K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital.
Last year’s runners set a new, record-breaking total for #TeamTKC, surpassing their goal with more than $207,000 raised for the initiative, and this year’s team is off and running on their fundraising goals, recently surpassing $180,000 raised.
We are so grateful for their hard work and dedication on behalf of pediatric cancer patients, their families and the Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health teams who care for them. Together, we can tackle kids’ cancer.
