Kids get to be master chefs while helping raise money for pediatric cancer research

Some kids got the chance to be master chefs today to help raise money for pediatric cancer research. Those kids got to help others in need by means of a $5 donation in which 100 percent of which went to Hackensack University Medical Center’s pediatric cancer research efforts.
New York Giants, Modell’s Sporting Goods team up to donate $115K for cancer research

NJ Pride/Essex County High School Softball Challenge set for this weekend

The NJ Pride, a premiere softball organization, and Essex High School created a tournament to honor Anthony LaRezza, the late IHA and NJ Pride softball coach. The goal was to raise money through admissions for Tackle Kids Cancer.
Moriah Students to Hold Community Fundraiser to Remember One of Their Own

The Moriah School announced a fundraiser for Tackle Kids Cancer as well as a toy and book drive for the Children’s Cancer Institute in memory of Evan Levy. The school will be hosting a big event to honor Evan Levy and to embody his strength and courage.

Circus elephants could be the cure to childhood cancer

Blood samples are being taken from elephants in the famous Ringling Bros. to help researchers find out why elephants don’t get cancer often. Ringling Bros. has also donated $10,000 to Tackle Kids Cancer for pediatric research.
