On Sunday, November 2, 2025, #TeamTKC, the Tackle Kids Cancer running team, proudly represented our organization at the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon. For the third straight year, #TeamTKC achieved a new record-breaking total, raising nearly $250,000 – and counting – for Tackle Kids Cancer.
As an Official Charity Partner of the prestigious marathon, we are grateful to have a dedicated mix of runners. Each year the squad includes Hackensack Meridian Health team members, family and loved ones of TKC MVPs (most valiant patients), and those who hold the Tackle Kids Cancer mission close to their hearts.
Last year, #TeamTKC raised more than $207,000, surpassing 2023’s total of $180,000. The funds raised by our marathon team benefit groundbreaking cancer research, essential clinical care, and unique support services for our patients and their families at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital and K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital. While racing for our organization, #TeamTKC also helps spread awareness of our mission during the historic New York City Marathon, one of the seven Abbott World Marathon Majors.
